It seems as if I have been in a relationship of one kind or another all my life. So I decided to take some time out for me and re examine the single life. I must say that I love my life the way it is now and although I intend on remaining single I could use a night out on the town. There are a lot of dating services out today so I decided to give them a whirl and see what I could see. I'm not really looking for the cute American idol type; I prefer a man that dose not look as if he stays in the mirror more than me. One of the dating services that I visited was Eharmony but most of the guys there that I spoke with were sounding too serious or sounded too needy. I believe that there are quite a few people who invest time in some of these dating services and sites for the sake of sex. That knowledge did not bring me a lot of joy. Sex is one of the easiest things to find, and I don't have to look hard for it. What I am looking for is the company of a man who enjoys the the company of an attractive, intelligent woman. Who's first contact would not be for the sake of a cheap caress that would only lead to a bedroom ............(but only in his mind). I am not putting down all dating services but I am a little uneasy with them.

The world that we live in can be so scary, you never know for sure the intentions of the other person. there are some real creeps out there and Mr. Charming can easily turn into Mr. Jerk. None the less my options are very limited and I guess I could run into the same problem by speed dating. Knowing that I am just looking for companionship ( the kind that doesn't move in) it dose make things a bit more easy for me. I don't have to worry about whether he is married or if he has ten kids. He could even be poor since what I want doesn't require me to care about his investments, I'm just in it for the nice evening or maybe a day at the beach. None the less these dating sites as well as the phone dating can be fun. As long as we never meet I can be anybody.
